Your investment options

It's your money - take control

Where your money is invested can make a big difference to what your pension pot will be worth - and to your lifestyle - when you retire.

So it’s important that you find out where your money is invested and what your options are.

Option 1. Stay in the Trustees' selected option

Unless you pick another option, when you join the company pension your money is automatically invested in the Trustees' selected option.

This option has been chosen by the Trustees because they believe it's a good option for most people in the company.

It's a lifestyle profile, which means that as you get closer to retirement, it will gradually and automatically move your money into funds which aim to prepare your pension for retirement.

Pros:

  • You don't have to actively manage your investments
  • It automatically prepares your pension savings for retirement

Con:

  • It's not suitable for everyone
